About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planning & Control (PPC) Engineer to manage production planning, inventory control, order execution, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule assembly and production activities based on customer requirements.
• Generate material requisitions for transferring materials from stores to assembly.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of raw materials.
• Coordinate with the Design team for GAD approvals and development of new brackets, adaptors, and related components.
• Liaise with Sales and customers regarding delivery schedules and order commitments.
• Coordinate with the Purchase department to ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
• Issue Manufacturing Orders (MO) and drawings to the shop floor for production execution.
• Track and monitor production progress to achieve delivery targets.
• Coordinate with the Quality department for WIP inspections and testing activities.
• Work closely with Logistics for timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Prepare and maintain FG code lists and BOMs in Excel and SAP.
• Create Sales Orders and Manufacturing Orders as per customer Purchase Orders in SAP.
• Create, release, and monitor Production Orders in SAP.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and customer delivery commitments.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC).
• Hands-on experience in SAP (Sales Orders, Manufacturing Orders, Production Orders, BOM, FG Codes).
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Purchase, Design, Quality, and Logistics.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 4–5 years of experience in Valve Manufacturing, Automation Manufacturing, or related engineering industries.
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering).
• Experience in handling production schedules, order execution, and material planning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet delivery deadlines.
